What coverages are offered
Recreational Boat Insurance provides coverage against loss or damage caused by perils of the sea and other risks, concerning private recreational boats that do not engage in any commercial activity and are used exclusively by their owner for personal entertainment and leisure purposes.
Coverage is provided based on specific international standards (Institute Yacht Clauses) which include, among other things, loss or damage caused to insured vessels due to collision or sinking of the vessel, as well as other risks such as fire and lightning. Coverage is also offered for liability towards third parties, such as passengers and swimmers.
